For years, my work has centered on storm restoration estimating, supplement strategy, claim development and the financial side of contractors' projects.
GC Claim Services gave me a front-row seat to what newer contractors struggle with most.
Knowing what they're looking at. Knowing what matters. Knowing what to do next.
As GCCS winds down, I'm shifting my focus away from writing supplements claim by claim and toward something I've wanted to do for a long time: teaching contractors how to understand and manage this work themselves.

About me
I'm Sarah Bilotta.
My background is a little unusual for this industry. Before storm restoration estimating, I spent years in collections and insurance subrogation collections. That trained me to look at money, documentation, negotiation, process and accountability differently.
When I stepped into storm restoration estimating, it clicked fast.
I've spent years working inside claims: reviewing estimates, building supplement strategy, identifying missed opportunities, and seeing firsthand how much financial pressure lands on contractors when they don't have a strong process in place.
I'm not here to pretend I know everything. The internet has enough of that already.
But supplementing is something I can confidently hang my hat on.
More importantly, I know how to take a subject that can feel complicated and turn it into something practical, organized and teachable. That is the work I want to do next.

SSS is built for newer storm contractors who want to understand supplementing, bring more of the process in-house, and make better financial decisions inside the claims they already have.

This is not about teaching contractors to add more. It's about teaching them to recognize legitimate opportunities, understand the financial impact, document the file properly, and move through the process with more confidence and control.
For current GCCS clients
Nothing changes without communication.
If we're already working together, existing files and commitments will continue to be handled directly as GCCS transitions.
GC Claim Services is not taking on new supplement-writing clients. My attention is moving toward education, strategy and consulting through Storm Supplements Simplified™.
The next chapter
I've spent years doing this work for contractors. Now I want to teach contractors how to do more of it for themselves.
